    About us...

Welcome to www.FEA-Forum.com. The Facilities Engineering Association (FEA) is a new pan-industry operator network focusing on upstream oil and gas facilities technology.

The network is open to all oil company operators and duty holders. The network currently comprises of nine leading North Sea operators.

The FEA meets three times a year, each meeting lasting 1 day (usually hosted by a member company based in Aberdeen).

For 2007, the technical themes for the workshops are: TBC

    FEA meetings are:

    • An excellent opportunity for oil and gas company representatives and duty holder representatives to interact with each other and with their peers in sister companies.
    • Events where your active, vocal participation is expected and required.
    • Educational
    • Comfortably informal and friendly
    • Excellent networking opportunity

    FEA meetings are not:

    • Sales and marketing friendly
    • Tolerant of sales talks
    • Receptive to non-technical offerings

Strong links are maintained with the other related networks, the DEA(e) (Drilling Engineering Association) and the PEA (Production Engineering Association) and there is common sharing of research proposals and project iFEAs wherever appropriate.
