Suppliers, whether universities, research institutes, or companies of all sizes (including other oil and gas companies and members), can bring ideas, technologies and case histories to any of the three FEA meetings each year and reach an audience of around 10 oil and gas companies with minimal marketing resource. It is usual for 10 oil and gas companies to be represented at senior level at each meeting. Immediate feedback from the meeting is provided through an Interest Survey Form which each operator representative fills out during the day (this is forwarded to presenters within 1-2 weeks of each meeting together with full contact details and an attendance list). Presenters are then able to contact those who expressed an interest, in order to launch a successful joint industry project. When choosing whether to buy into a project, member companies act independently from one another. At each of the events the networking opportunities are great with refreshment breaks and pre-meeting social dinners (laid on by the meeting host member) ideal opportunities to meet and exchange information. To participate in a technical workshop you are requested to submit a short extract of your suggested presentation, (sales-orientated presentations will not be accepted - the FEA is interested in case history experience, 'how-to' ideas and innovative technology updates), to the secretariat who will ensure your submission is evaluated by the correct committee. If you would like to be added (or removed from) the FEA Supplier mailing list, please send an email to Crispin Keanie at OTM. |
